ORGANIZATION: Hotel Grinnell

SITUATION

As a start-up boutique hotel, Hotel Grinnell wanted to create a promotional video that would aid in their efforts to build their new brand.

TASK

The goal was to create a video that evoked emotion and told the story of an old building being transformed into a boutique hotel. The video served as an introduction to the project and would be shared in the months leading up to opening to build anticipation.

ACTION

  • Wrote a script that told the story of the hotel project
  • Developed a storyboard of the visuals that would complement each section of the script
  • Used a mix of stock images and community photos to edit the video using Adobe Premiere Pro software

RESULT

The finished video is two minutes in length and will be showcased on the hotel’s website and social media this summer.
